Dovetail Coffee Table

This Concrete coffee table was inspired by traditional dovetail jointery most commonly seen in fine wood working. I was able to collaborate with the exacting talent of Ben Z Oblas www.bzodesign.com/. The dovetails in this table are incredibly tight. For me this tight dovetail represents the rewarding potential for collaborative work and building relationships between artisans. This solid table has a satisfying harmony where the two mediums merge and reveals a true dedication toward craftsmanship, ingenuity and beauty. sold.

Cellar Entry

An Installation I designed with elephant tusks for a wine cellar entry. Bronze and leather brackets suspend ivory off wall 6".

 I have the honor of installing my first public "Seattle" piece in a few days! 100 Republican St. I was awarded a commission in a national call to artists to propose and build a sculpture to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the World's Fair. It's almost finished!
